Casa Mar Surfhouse – Property Policies

Reservations and Payment

• A reservation is confirmed once the required deposit has been received.
• The remaining balance must be paid no later than at check-in.
• Rates are charged per room or per guest, depending on the selected package.
• Services not included in the reservation will be charged separately.
• All guests must present a valid identification document.
• Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in: from 1:00 PM
• Check-out: by 11:00 AM
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.
• All keys must be returned at check-out.
• Lost keys may incur a replacement fee.

Cancellation and Modification Policy

• All cancellations and reservation changes must be submitted in writing.
• The reservation deposit is refundable until 3 days before the arrival
• Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged according to the booking conditions.
• Date changes are subject to availability and possible rate differences.
• No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused services.
• If a surf activity is cancelled for safety reasons, Casa Mar Surfhouse will offer an alternative date or activity whenever possible.

Guest Conduct and Quiet Hours

• Guests must respect other guests, staff members and neighbours.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Parties and events are not permitted without prior approval from management.
• Violent, threatening, discriminatory or dangerous behaviour may result in immediate removal from the property without a refund.

Visitors

• Outside visitors must be reported to and approved by reception.
• Only registered guests are allowed inside the bedrooms.
• Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.
• Casa Mar Surfhouse reserves the right to request identification from all visitors.

Smoking, Alcohol and Illegal Substances

• Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the bedrooms and all indoor areas.
• Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
• Alcohol must be consumed responsibly.
• The possession or consumption of illegal drugs or substances is strictly prohibited.
• Excessive alcohol consumption that disturbs others or creates a safety risk may result in removal from the property.

Rooms and Common Areas

• Guests must keep their rooms and shared spaces clean and tidy.
• In shared rooms, personal belongings must be stored in the designated areas.
• Furniture must not be moved without permission.
• Bathroom towels must not be taken to the beach.
• Clothes and towels must not be hung from windows, balconies or equipment not intended for this purpose.
• Guests using the shared kitchen must follow the displayed opening hours and instructions.

Damage and Lost Property

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their visitors.
• Damage, missing items and additional cleaning costs may be charged to the responsible guest.
• Casa Mar Surfhouse is not responsible for belongings left unattended.
• Valuable items should be stored in the lockers or secure storage areas provided.
• Lost property will be kept for a limited period. Any shipping costs must be paid by the owner.

Safety and Security

• Doors, gates and property entrances must remain secured according to the property’s instructions.
• Guests must not share keys or access codes with anyone who is not staying at the property.
• Emergency exits and safety equipment must never be blocked, removed or misused.
• Emergencies, injuries and unsafe situations must be reported to staff immediately.
• Casa Mar Surfhouse reserves the right to refuse access to anyone who may represent a danger to themselves or others.

Surf Activities

• Participants must follow all instructions provided by the surf instructors.
• Guests must honestly disclose their surfing ability, physical condition and any relevant medical conditions.
• Required or recommended safety equipment must be worn during all activities.
• Alcohol or drug consumption before a surf activity is strictly prohibited.
• Activities may be changed, postponed or cancelled due to ocean conditions, weather or safety requirements.
• Participants must use all surf equipment responsibly and immediately report any damage.
• Damage caused by negligence or improper use may be charged to the participant.
• Guests are strongly advised to have travel insurance covering surfing, water sports and medical expenses.

Children

• Children remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or legal guardians at all times.
• Children must not be left unattended in common areas, near the ocean or during activities.
• Participation in surf lessons depends on the child’s age, ability and current safety conditions.

Pets

• Pets are only permitted with prior written approval from Casa Mar Surfhouse.
• Restrictions and additional fees may apply.
• Pet owners are responsible for their animals and for any disturbance or damage they may cause.

Food and Allergies

• Food allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements must be communicated before arrival.
• Casa Mar Surfhouse will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
• Included meals are served at the announced times.
• Missed or unused meals are non-refundable.

Environmental Responsibility

• Water and electricity must be used responsibly.
• Guests are encouraged to reuse towels and reduce waste.
• Littering on the beach or in natural areas is strictly prohibited.
• Guests must respect the local environment, wildlife and marine life.

Photography and Video

• Casa Mar Surfhouse may take photographs or videos in common areas and during activities.
• A guest’s consent must be obtained before identifiable images are used for promotional purposes.
• Guests may inform staff at any time if they do not wish to appear in photographs or videos.

Liability

• Guests are responsible for their personal safety, belongings and compliance with all property and activity instructions.
• Casa Mar Surfhouse is not responsible for disruptions caused by weather, ocean conditions, transportation issues, utility outages or other circumstances beyond its control.
• Serious or repeated violations of these policies may result in the immediate termination of the guest’s stay without a refund.
• By confirming a reservation and staying at Casa Mar Surfhouse, guests acknowledge and accept these property policies.
